We are seeking a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing high-quality meals, works well under pressure, and takes pride in maintaining excellent food standards.
Salary
AUD$79,500 + base negotiable (plus 12% Superannuation)
Job Requirements and Description
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting meals in accordance with our menu and quality standards. You will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure daily operations and a positive dining experience for customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen setup
- Ensure food is stored, handled, and prepared safely in line with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Support kitchen team during busy service periods
- Minimize waste and manage portion control
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant qualifications and previous experience as a Cook
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good time management and organizational abilities
