Salary
AUD$80,000 + base negotiable (plus 12% Superannuation)
Job Requirements and Description
As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fittings made from wood and other materials. You will work closely with supervisors and site teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials
- Install and repair doors, windows, frames, flooring, and fittings
- Build and install formwork, partitions, and cabinetry (when required)
- Ensure structures and level, plumb, and properly aligned
- Carry our maintenance and repair work as needed
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition
What We’re Looking For
- Formal qualification and proven work experience as a Carpenter
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving and time management skills
